Royal Ascot | DUN DEAL FOR DUNTLE. Duntle struck another blow for eire with a determined success within the Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot.
Sent off the 4-1 favorite for David Wachman and Wayne Lordan, she was brought through to challenge Arsaadi 2 furlongs out and looked set to travel on and win impressively.
However, to the credit of William Haggas' filly, Arsaadi kept on battling away and solely went down by 0.5 a length at the end.
Richard Fahey's Ladys initial deserves many credit in third as she raced for the second 1/2 the race totally on her own on the way aspect.
Wachman said: "She won her maiden by eighteen lengths therefore we have a tendency to knew she had many ability.
"We wished to run her within the Guineas however she'd had 2 fast runs therefore we have a tendency to determined to return here instead.
"It's nice for the family (Niarchos owners), they bought her 2 runs back.
"She'll in all probability head to America currently and i am going to speak to Alan Cooper (racing manager) to come to a decision where she goes before then.
"She's a sensible filly and has invariably shown us masses, she has cluster One entries."
