Go Go Go Horse Race: Slade Power battled through the testing conditions to elevate the Belgrave Stakes at Fairyhouse.

Edward Lynam's progressive young sprinter got the higher of the rather more experienced five-year-old Arctic to require the Listed contest in determined fashion.

Wayne Lordan created Slade Power towards the centre of the course to create his challenge and also the 11-4 shot responded gamely to win by a length. Santo Padre was third.

Go Go Go Horserace: LILY FIRES In Ballyogan Stakes. Fire Lily ran out a rare winner for the house team in Leopardstown's Ballyogan Stakes on Thursday.
