Royal Ascot | FRANKEL FINE AFTER ASCOT DEMOLITION. Frankel was reported to be "fine" back at his Warren Place stables despite losing a shoe throughout his scintillating performance within the Queen Anne Stakes.
Sir Henry Cecil's superstar colt was extending his unbeaten record to eleven from wins as several starts within the gap race of Royal Ascot 2012, demolishing previous rival Excelebration by eleven lengths.
Cecil said: "He lost a front shoe (in the race). i do not understand where it happened however it got loose within the last furlong and came off.
"It's been poulticed, however he is fine and lives to fight another day.
"The plan was to travel to Goodwood (Sussex Stakes) and York (Juddmonte International), however everything is open and we'll see."
Owner Khalid Abdullah's racing manager, Teddy Grimthorpe, told the BBC: "He's come well, eaten up and looks terribly happy. No issues.
"It was a wide ranging performance by any customary. I typically simply sit and yell from the stands, however truly I simply watched open-mouthed.
"It was such an exquisite job done by Henry and Tom (Queally) and everybody back home at Warren Place has been fantastic.
"He are a few things else is not he?
"People come back into racing for these terribly, terribly special horses.
"The quantity of individuals that have come back up to me since and said their son or daughter wasn't extremely keen on racing however they saw Frankel and they are simply fully mad for it currently.
"It is massively vital for the complete game. It's fantastic."
However, Frankel's effort wasn't enough to earn the title of best racehorse ever, in line with the handicappers at the British Horseracing Authority.
The BHA's Dominic Gardiner-Hill explained that the proximity of a number of the crushed horses holds the shape down slightly.
Dancing Brave, like Frankel owned by Khalid Abdullah, was awarded the best ever official mark of 141 once his victory within the 1986 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
"He he went into the race on 138. i feel he is run to a minimum of that in winning the race yesterday," Gardiner-Hill told BHAXtra.
"If we tend to place him up, he'll go up a most of one or two of pounds to a mark of a hundred and forty.
"As was highlighted once the Lockinge, within the modern-day era Dancing Brave is that the highest-rated horse we've had on 141 and at this stage i would not wish to place him up higher than Dancing Brave on what he achieved yesterday.
"There are doubts. facet look went into the race on 113, the German horse (Indomito) on 108, though having reviewed his rating this morning we tend to might have underestimated his last run. and clearly Windsor Palace (fifth) may be a 104-106 horse.
"I do not suppose it'd be right to place Frankel higher than Dancing Brave, beating those horses, that extremely are not any over cluster 2 horses.
"He beat them an extended method however once you examine the standard of the Arc that Dancing Brave won back in 1986, that was chock-full of cluster One winners, i feel it'd be wrong at this stage to mention that Frankel may be a higher horse than Dancing Brave, thus if he goes up it'll be a most of one or two of pounds to a hundred and forty."
The Queen Anne performance was the largest distance by that Frankel has crushed Excelebration, who was 5 lengths in arrears at Newbury within the Lockinge Stakes last month.
But Gardiner-Hill said: "I suppose that (Excelebration ran below his best) is an undeniable fact, there is not any method that he might have run same the race as he did at Newbury or within the QEII here last year.
"The highest I will get Excelebration at the instant on yesterday's performance is one hundred fifteen, which might mean he's regarding 10lb off the performance at Newbury and within the QEII."
Timeform, on the opposite hand, take a distinct read and have Frankel at a brand new provisional high of 147, taking him 2lb beyond their previous best, ocean Bird II.
David Johnson, Timeform's Flat editor, said: "The facts are that Frankel's performance is probably going to surpass something witnessed in Timeform's 64-year history.
"To offer some perspective on simply how phenomenal this effort was, in provisionally rating Frankel 147, we tend to still have Excelebration (runner-up) running over a stone below his previous best (133).
"A purpose value emphasising is that the consistency with that Frankel has created such performances. this can be the fifth time that he has created a 140+ rating."
