Jack Mitchell sidelined after injuring his ankle in Germany | Jack Mitchell is ready for some weeks on the sidelines when injuring his ankle in Germany over the weekend.

Mitchell was set to be in action at Wolverhampton on Monday however his name was faraway from the racecard.

His father, former Epsom trainer Philip, said: "He had an accident in Munich yesterday when a horse reared up and he fractured his ankle.

"He had six rides over there, and it looked a decent chance to urge his face regarding, however i feel he'd solely ridden four of them.

"It's alittle fracture and that they said it'll keep him out for 3 weeks or therefore.

"The doctor said they might place it during a plaster and he could go home, therefore it's simply a matter of being patient till he will place some weight on it."
