Go Go Go Horse Race: The Cheka might attempt to get a bunch One on his CV within the Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville next month.
Eve Johnson Houghton's stable stalwart contains a Listed and cluster 3 success to his credit and came closest to this point to scoring at the best level when runner-up to Mayson within the Darley July Cup at Newmarket on Saturday.
"It was an excellent run. he is had quite a couple of trials and tribulations, I continuously knew he was an honest horse and it's specific he is commence and proved it," Johnson Houghton told At The Races.
"Second during a cluster One isn't be sniffed at, regardless of the ground.
"He's within the Maurice de Gheest over six and a furlongs in Deauville.
"We may go there, though he can run into Moonlight Cloud. i would not be terrified of that as a result of on all known type, particularly his York run (second within the Duke of York Stakes), then you'd assume he'd have an honest probability."
