John Smith's Northumberland Plate | Newcastle delay inspection. Officials at Newcastle have delayed a planned twelve noon inspection till 3pm prior Saturday's John Smith's Northumberland Plate meeting.
Thursday's meeting at the course was abandoned once simply four races as torrential rain and lightning hit, with a choice} then taken to call off the remainder of the cardboard.
Friday's evening meeting has already been cancelled.
Clerk of the course James Armstrong said: "We're simply attempting to regroup usually this morning.
