James Fanshawe | Moore lands Society ride. Trainer James Fanshawe has moved to book Ryan Moore to partner Society Rock in Saturday's Darley July Cup at Newmarket.
Johnny Murtagh was within the saddle aboard the five-year-old when he finished fifth within the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot, trying a somewhat unlucky loser having missed the break badly.
Moore has never ridden the horse before and is an uncommon booking for the Newmarket trainer, who has solely used him ten times within the last 5 seasons.
Fanshawe's wife Jacko tweeted: "Ryan Moore are going to be on Society Rock when he runs within the July Cup on Saturday. James happy he desires to ride him and he looks in sensible kind."
