Caspar Netscher out to net Prat prize | Caspar Netscher continues in his quest to win a primary cluster One for trainer Alan McCabe and owner Charles Wentworth in Sunday's Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly.

This will involve a rematch with French Fifteen, who got as near Camelot as any horse has managed when crushed a neck within the 2000 Guineas, where Caspar Netscher was ninth.

A winner of 3 cluster races last season, the Dutch Art colt added another to his trophy cupboard when lifting the German Guineas at Cologne.

"He's terribly recent and we have a tendency toll as a result of we bypassed (Royal) Ascot," said McCabe.

"Last year he was a horse that took lots of racing and doubtless wants lots of racing.

"We're on high of him at the instant, however he is terribly recent and well.

"Everything we've thrown at him, he is done it for us. he is an excellent horse to possess around and he gets lots of well wishers. he is won over £250,000 for us currently."

French Fifteen, who is trained by Nicolas Clement, rose from the minor country tracks to cluster One glory last year within the Criterium International at Saint-Cloud.

Clement, like several different trainers, is keen to discard his tenth place end in a very brutal running of the Prix du Jockey Club at a similar picturesque course earlier within the month.

"It was a nightmare of a race," said the locally-based trainer.

"He came back with some cuts and bruises however he appears fine currently.

"You solely have to be compelled to look into Brian Meehan's horse Most Improved, he had the same run within the race and won the St James's Palace Stakes last week.

"John Gosden's horse Gregorian was conjointly within the race, and he was third to Most Improved at Ascot.

"I've been terribly proud of his last 2 items of labor and that we set this was the proper race for him.

"It's the last cluster One race of the season for three-year-olds, therefore it's extremely necessary."

Gregorian lines up once more and can be joined by another British runner, Mick Channon's Arnold Lane, who was hampered when The Nile was injured within the St James's Palace and nearly pulled-up.

Andre Fabre's Aesop's Fables, scarcely crushed by the good Moonlight Cloud last time, cluster 3 winner Xanadou, Coup de Theatre and Sofast complete the line-up.
